ZONE74

Zone 74 is comprised of Local Lodges 97, 2203, 2531, 2533, 2552, and W331. All of the affiliated lodges were previously a part of District Lodge 74, but through the tri-state merger are now lodge affiliates of the Greater Mid-Atlantic, Southern Territory District Lodge 2020. The elected Business Representative of Zone 74 currently is Larry Battle. The At-Large BR, Charlie Long, is a member of Local Lodge 97.

Members (pictured above), of IAMAW Local Lodge 97, Zone 74 of District Lodge 2020, Norfolk Va., take time to express their solidarity as a team in their efforts to secure a new Collective Bargaining Agreement on February 24, 2023, with Raytheon Corporation. These Radar Techs made gains in a number of monetary areas. The tentative agreement includes forty (40) hours PTO after six (6) months for new hires, participation in the Company Awards and Bonus Program, a $2000 signing bonus, Year one (1), $1.00 Equity Adjustment and 3% GWI. 3% GWI years two (2) and three (3). $1000. Lump sum wage and a 3% GWI in year four (4). Increases in H&W to $5.63 years one (1), two (2), and three (3), and, $5.75 in year four (4).

The attendees stated that they learned a lot and thanked the Educator for his sharing of information that will enable them to better represent their members and enforce the Collective Bargaining Agreement. The training was conducted on Friday, June 25, 2021, at the District Lodge 2020 Norfolk, Virginia location.
