Soon to be retired, IAM President Robert Martinez, help save the Airline Industry

IAM International President Robert Martinez Jr. was recently featured in the Dallas Morning News, and he discussed his fight to save the airline industry.

Martinez and his team began lobbying virtually for the Payroll Support Program. The legislative package gave $25 billion to airlines in aid and another $25 billion in loans in exchange for a promise not to lay off workers, enact furloughs, cut pay or hours along with prohibitions on executive pay raises and share buybacks.
